When used as a weapon it is uncontrollable, and tends to affect both sides of a conflict
i) These weapons are released deliberately to cause disease and death in humans, animals or plants.

ii)It Includes microorganisms like virus, bacteria, fungi, or other toxins

Experts say SARS-CoV-2 originated in bats. That’s also how the coronaviruses behind Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) got started.

SARS-CoV-2 made the jump to humans at one of Wuhan’s open-air “wet markets.” They’re where customers buy fresh meat and fish, including animals that are killed on the spot.

Some wet markets sell wild or banned species like cobras, wild boars, and raccoon dogs. Crowded conditions can let viruses from different animals swap genes. Sometimes the virus changes so much it can start to infect and spread among people

Various Opinions about "Coronavirus as Bio-Weapon ".

Some people say Coronavirus is Not a Bio-Weapon. According to them,  the goal of weaponized viruses would be to kill or incapacitate large amounts of people, preferably quickly. Coronavirus doesn’t accomplish either goal. It has only killed about 3.4% worldwide and that’s including countries like China where income is low, healthcare and healthcare access is fairly lacking, and it is an extremely densely populated country with an exceptionally large elderly population. In other words, that’s making the death rate falsely elevated in their opinion. A 3.4% death rate isn’t very good for a weapon, anyone with the capability to make such a virus would do better than that. Also, most of the cases are mild and NOT serious at all. It’s not incapacitating most people, it’s mostly an inconvenience for most.


While others say Yes absolutely, with no doubt.According to them few political giants of China stood behind this outbreak.


Dr. Li Wenliang issued a warning about a strange new virus. Then the authorities summoned him for questioning.?

SARS also made in China! about 2 decades back which has similar symptoms and attacked a similar organ system.

What could be the reason for the virus coming out of China’s National Biosafety Laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology?

According to the them why is there no information about Coronavirus to WHO about its generation when they found it as dangerous?

I will draw some facts here to support my statement

 Confirmed cases in China are 81,554 from (Nov-2019 to April-2020), How it is possible to stay at this number? while other countries experiencing exponential growth in new corona cases day by day?


These people argus that  China diverting countries by delivering fault equipment? Yes, Testing kits supplied by China have been found faulty by Spain, the Czech Republic, and Turkey.(Source EconomicTimesIndia)

Balanced Opinion


The virus is spreading without discrimination and it’s clearly likely to remain in the human population and infect the population of whatever country released it. 

 Coronavirus apparently looks very much like other, worse viruses in its family. Why would any belligerent country release a less effective virus? Better yet, introducing one with a known vaccine would better contain its spread to their target since the targeted country or countries would try to stop it from spreading, period.

What should be our main focus at this crusial time? Should we waste our time only by blaming others? In such a huge population no one will care for us and our family. So instead of wasting time and energy on is Coronavirus as Bio-Weapon or not? we should take care of mental and physical health of ourself and our family. Try to help each other in our society. And encourage each and every one to follow the Coronavirus guidelines. Country should also have a  vaccine plan  to protect their own population.
